Do 'Better Days' Really Exist?

It's a question that many of us wrestle with , especially when life feels like an endless loop of suffering, failures, setbacks, unfulfilled dreams and losses. We find ourselves asking, "Do better days really exist?" when every step forward feels like two steps back; it's easy to believe that brighter days are just a myth.

The weight of repeated failures can be crushing, leaving us feeling like we're stuck in a cycle of despair. Loss seems to knock on our door every chance it get, and when it comes, it doesn’t just knock us down—it stamps on our hearts, leaving us gasping for air. The pain can feel so overwhelming, like a deep wound being press on that won’t stop bleeding, making us wonder if we'll ever heal, if we'll ever find peace.

But in the midst of this excruciating pain, we must remember that better days are not just about the absence of suffering. They are about the strength we build through our struggles, the hope we find in the darkness, and the resilience we develop as we face each setback. Better days may not always come in the form of perfect circumstances, but in the small victories, little miracle, the moments of peace, and the love we give and receive.

It’s important to hold on God! To hold on to our faith, hold on to the belief that better days do exist, even if they look different than we imagined or not come when we expected it. The storms of life may be fierce, but they can also water the seeds of growth and resilience within us. The rain of setbacks may seem unending, but it can also bring renewal and new beginnings.

So, do better days really exist? Yes, they do. But sometimes, they are not handed to us; they are created by the choices we make, the hope we cling to, and the strength we gather along the way. Even in the darkest times, better days can be found within us, waiting to break through the clouds of despair.

Psalm 30:5 KJV …Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
