Have you ever found yourself in a season where you have been planted for a very long time with no breakthrough in sight? Do you ever just feel stuck? I have. Life happens and rarely goes the way we planned it, and we must face that reality. But despite life challenges, we were created to bloom wherever life plants us.
Sometimes we go through seasons in life where we feel like nothing is happening in our lives; we feel stuck, and nothing seems to be moving. We can easily get frustrated with the process of being planted, and oftentimes we allow these seasons to stop us from truly blooming into the person God created us to be. God oftentimes uses our planting season to build deep roots within us. Develop our character, patience, and humility. God has you in this place not to punish you but to build your roots. Planting is only for a season. When He knows you are ready, He will allow you to bring forth fruit in your season.
Psalm 1:3 spoke about a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth his fruit in his season. Just like that tree, we are seeds with fruit inside of us, and for a tree to bear fruit, it has to first be planted in the ground and nurtured for it to spring forth and bear fruit in its season. We have to nourish our seed by praying, worshipping, reading the word of God, and spending quality time in His presence so that we can bring forth our fruit in the right season.
I know being planted in a season for a long time can be agonizing. I have been there, and I just want that season of my life to be over. But I have learned to bloom where I have been planted and how to turn lemons into lemonade when life throws them at me. Don’t wait for your circumstances to come to an end; bloom while being planted in them. Don't just sit down and let life pass you by. What do you have now in that season that can prepare you to bloom where God is about to take you? Your next is connected to your now. Sometimes God just wants us to bloom where He planted us.
You may be in your planting season right now. But my encouragement to you is to bloom, grow, and flourish despite your situations. It doesn’t matter where a tree is planted; it just needs the right conditions to grow into that tree and bear fruit. Be like the tree; it doesn't matter what your circumstances are; don’t let them stop you from blooming into the fruit-bearing tree that you were created to be. Thrive, not just survive, despite how bad the circumstances may seem.
Remember, as you keep yourself planted in God and in His word, you will bloom and come through the situation better than how you went into it. Embrace and flourish where you are in your life right now by choosing to be content and trusting God's plan for your life. God wants you to bloom!
Be encouraged.
God bless you.
