Ephesian 3: 20 NIV “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”
How do you see yourself? Many times, we don’t walk to our full potential because we limit the way we see ourselves. If you are truly going to experience the limitless God, you need to see yourself the way He sees you. Is there any area in your life where you’ve been limiting God? We all have areas in our lives where we believe that God is unable to bring certain dreams to pass because of our present circumstances. But God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that you can ask or think. God is not limited by our circumstances.
Ephesians 3:20 KJV serves as a reminder of God's limitless might and His willingness to bestow blessings on His people that are beyond our human understanding. It speaks of the God who is all knowing, all powerful, and mighty, who is able to exceed our expectations of Him. This verse also reassures us that our prayers and dreams are not limited by human understanding. God can exceed any limit our circumstances or situation might want to place on Him. He is far greater than what we could ever ask or think. God is infinite!
A limited mindset can hold us back from reaching our full potential. Many times we are afraid to step forward in our divine purpose because of our limited mindset; we don't see ourselves as being capable of achieving all that God has placed on the inside of us. We’ve got to stop limiting ourselves and begin to push beyond our normal limitations. Until you quit limiting God and yourself, you'll never know how much you can achieve. You’ve got to change the way you see yourself. You’ve got to start thinking bigger.
Your current situation shouldn't stop you from pursuing your goals and aspirations for a better you or bigger things. God placed those aspirations and dreams in your heart for a reason. It is time to take the limits off and step into the fullness of all that God has provided in order to fulfil all that God has called you to be. You are capable of being all that God has called you to be.
Don’t let life’s situations prevent you from carrying out God’s plan and purpose for your life. Sometimes we experience suffering, disappointment, or rejection for such a long time to the point where it almost becomes a normal way of life for us. We hold ourselves back when we dwell on our current circumstances and the challenges we encounter.
We think we can’t accomplish certain things because our current position doesn’t look like we think it should. This way of thinking limits our potential and God’s promise to do exceedingly, abudantly, and above all, we could ask or think. Believe God, He is about to enlarge your capacity to receive more. Rest assured, because He’s able to!
My encouragement to you is: for the rest of this year, choose to stop limiting what God can do in your life and start believing for the exceedingly. Take the limits off God!
Be encouraged!
God bless you richly.
