The role of the enemy (Satan) is to produce as much pain and anguish in the life of a believer. As such, he always seeks to grab hold of the mind. Our job is to resist the devil by submitting ourselves to God daily (James 4:7). The enemy is after our name and how people see us. He will send bombs that are aimed at wounding, stopping, and annihilating us. It is essential that we know and understand how these ‘bombs’ work to stay alive.
The four main bombs that are often planted by the enemy to stand against us and cause extensive damage include:
CONFUSION
Confusion is designed to create chaos in the mind and lead to a lack of focus and clarity as to what should be done. In 1 Cor. 14:33, Paul warned that God is not the author of confusion but of order. Confusion leads to mistrust and damages people's efforts. Have you ever been confused? It makes you wonder what your purpose is at work, school, business, and church. It gives a sense of aimless direction and stalls your movement.
DIVISION
Division, much like confusion, creates many problems within Christ's body. Psalm 133 discourages this by showing how good and pleasant it is when people are united. Why? A divided group will not last forever. People often become isolated, and that is when the devil makes his move. I once watched a Tyler Perry movie called "The Family That Preys." In summary, the family was divided, which also caused a divide in their business.
Division leads us to 'prey' on each other rather than 'praying' for each other. Acts 2:1-4 outlines that the believers in the upper room were on one accord. They agreed on a single purpose. This created the atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to come. Are you divided in your purpose? Is your family divided? Is your youth group divided? Is your ministry divided? Take steps to address the situation. The division has no favorites and will attend any invited party.
WEARINESS
Weariness is the enemy's tool used to cause the believer to give up on ministry, their purpose, and their life. Gal 6:9 states, "And let us not grow weary in well doing, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." While doing good, a believer can become mentally and emotionally tired, especially when there is no forward movement or life change. The role of the enemy is to frustrate every effort with darts of pessimism and discouragement. Don't give up, keep moving. Someone is depending on you to pull through. Paul says we will only experience victory by not giving up.
OFFENSE
Offense is the trigger that produces shame, unforgiveness, and bitterness when not treated. The truth is that someone will offend us at some point in our journey. How we handle the offense often dictates the pace of our growth. I believe that each time we are about to get an elevation or a breakthrough, an offense appears to test our resolve.
Naaman, who had leprosy, was offended because Elisha did not come out to him. "But Naaman went away angry and said, "I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy" (2 Kings 5:11 NIV). His expectations led to his offense. Additionally, he chose how his healing should be done.
Sometimes, believers are offended when their expectation of a situation, a member, or a leader is contrary. This will lead to the believer leaving the church and sometimes even backsliding. Do not allow this to be you. Guard your heart with all diligence and strength.
I want to remind us that, through Jesus, we have the power to take cover and be shielded from the enemy's attack.

I like the way you highlighted the bombs. The point about weariness resonates with me.
