It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God - that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 1 Corinthians 1:30
How many times were you told you are not wise? How many foolish decisions have you made? how many foolish actions have you taken? When you made those decisions, and took those actions, were you in Jesus Christ, having been born again, or were you still living a perpetually sinful life? Regardless of the state you were in, or are in, there is still a chance for you to have your path redirected. That way is to accept the Fundamental Principle of Wisdom, embodied by Jesus Christ. That is how we change our story.
James 1:5 tells us that; "if any man lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault and it will be given to him."
When we have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us, we will grow strong in spirit, filled with wisdom, and the grace, favor and spiritual blessings of God will be on us as we also increase in influence. We will see a shift, as our decisions will no longer be based on our impulses or our assumptions, but rather, led by the wisdom applied in order to live more purposeful lives.
Furthermore, we must never for once think, that because we have grandparents and parents, that lived their lives for Jesus Christ, that automatically, we become heirs of their salvation.
Regardless of our heritage; if we remain unrepentant and lack belief in Jesus Christ, we will never take part in God's covenant promises, for the promises are for those who believe, and are then obedient to His word.
As such, we need to establish our own personal belief in and relationship with Jesus Christ to receive salvation. Our relatives' spiritual blessings are not automatically our spiritual blessings; but if we seek first God's kingdom, His righteousness, then, He will bless us with spiritual blessings in Heavenly places through Christ Jesus. We will be filled with the Holy Spirit, as we grow in wisdom, grace and favor.
When we accept Jesus as personal Savior and Lord and are baptized, we share in His death, burial and resurrection to new life, and with that, we are made new creatures, where we pursue the standard that Jesus Christ has set as the true embodiment of wisdom.
When we find Jesus, we find wisdom, and wisdom (Jesus Christ) is life. Proverbs 9:10.. The reverent fear of the Lord (that is worshipping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome) is the beginning of wisdom; its starting and central point.
Wisdom (Jesus) increases life. Not only physically but spiritually and eternally.
Wisdom (Jesus) builds our inner man, which is reflected on our outer man.
Wisdom ( Jesus) teaches self discipline that leads to godly living.
Wisdom (Jesus) enhances common sense and turns us away from being easily mislead.
Wisdom (Jesus) speaks excellent and noble things; Wisdom (Jesus) walks in the way of righteousness.
Unequivocally, Jesus Christ is the source of the wisdom we need to navigate through life's journey. For if we think we are wise, we are only wise in our own eyes, and our foolishness will pay the penalty. So I will say; in all our getting, in all our findings, get Wisdom, find Wisdom; get Jesus, find Jesus.
